This workshop is designed to introduce children ages 5 through 7 to the world of acting. The workshop will cover everything from beginning on-camera commercial techniques to creating a strong portfolio. Topics include slating, interviewing, audition etiquette, commercial audition techniques, beginning monologue work, speech and diction exercises, improvisation, photo posing, parent lecture, photo shoot, and mock audition. The course will consist of 10 consecutive weeks of classes held on Saturdays for 2 hours at a time. It is followed by a photo shoot and mock audition held on their own scheduled dates.
